I next did a file search that turned up nothing, but you really should know that the built-in Windows Search facility has had serious limitations for a rather long time. In the latter of the two locations Chris cited (under \Users\Username\Appdata\Local ) I do see a WSHelper folder under \Wondershare, but both folders are completely empty.
I've just looked on a laptop where I installed their PDF Editor recently, but no *immediate* evidence of the WSHelper files.
"Phone Home" behavior is a major No-No on the part of software, in my book.
Regarding posted comment #8 above, which concerned me because I have a few of the Wondershare products installed on different computers: I am now searching for confirmation on this.
